CHRISTIANSBURG – The Community Health Center of the New River Valley (CHCNRV) has announced the addition of Dr. Eleanor Cvach to its dental team in its Christiansburg clinic.
As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Cvach will be leading the CHCNRV’s school-based dental program with a focus on encouraging her student patients to establish healthy oral habits.
Cvach previously worked at Children’s Dentistry of Charlottesville and New Horizons Healthcare and Henritze Dental Group/Southwest Virginia Pediatric Dentistry, both in Roanoke. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of New England and completed her general practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Connecticut and her pediatric dental residency at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in Jackson, MS, where she served as Chief Resident.
Because of her vast residency background, Cvach will also be leading the CHCNRV’s dental residency program once it has become accredited.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Cvach join our team,” said Michelle Brauns, CEO of CHCNRV. “Her expertise in pediatric dentistry allows us to further meet the oral health needs of children in our area and offer essential services directly in schools where they are most needed. In addition, her leadership over our dental residency program will allow us to grow the dental workforce in the New River Valley.”
