Clarence Allen Vaden, age 73, of Blacksburg died Feb. 12, 2017, at his home. He was born in Montgomery County on May 19, 1
943 to the late Leonard and Ethel Jones Vaden.
He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Marshall Vaden, Marvin Vaden, Lewis Vaden, Alfred Vaden and Rador Vaden; one sister, Annabelle Lang; and father and mother-in-law, Henry and Juanita Southern.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Vaden; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Vaden and Milko Maykowskyj and Lisa and Michael Courtade; son, Robert Vaden; brothers and sisters-in-law, Randolph and Jewel Vaden and Lonnie and Linda Vaden; grandsons, Joe Courtade, Mason Maykowskyj and Ben Courtade; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Hodges, Fay and Ike Wilson, Gay Stafford and Barbara Shepherd; and sister-in-law, Jan Vaden.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel at 150 Country Club Drive S.W. in Blacksburg with the Rev. Gary McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
