Children read to Napa the therapy dog at the Radford Public Library. Once a month, children can sign up for a reading slot to read to this pleasant pooch.
According to Aaron Riegel, library technician at the public library, “the Dog Tales event happens the first Saturday in every month, and kids can practice their reading skills by reading to our wonderful therapy dog Napa and get their picture taken!” The event is happening today, Saturday, Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. until noon and slots are still open if people want to call and sign up. The library phone number is 540-731-3603.
