Seven-year-old Payton White of Buchanan waits for her dad to put a string of beads around her neck after she and her sister, 4-year-old Pyper White (left), took part in Buchanan’s second Community Easter Egg Hunt on the Town Park Saturday morning. They are the daughters of Brian and Amanda White. The Buchanan Special Events Committee volunteers put goodies in 3,206 eggs and set them out for three different age groups. The James River High School Key Club members helped with the day by having three craft stations and providing 350 lunches for the kids and parents.
