Iven Dail Caldwell, 82, of Check, formerly of Blacksburg died, Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 at his home. He was born in Montgomery Co., Va. on October 28, 1936 to the late Eldridge and Stella Caldwell. He is survived by his wife, Sue Caldwell, sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Teresa Caldwell, Dail Caldwell, Leon and Carol Caldwell, Andrew and Donna Caldwell, Lary and Bobbie Caldwell, Jason Caldwell, sisters and brother-in-law, Pauline and Lewis Smith, Dolly Quesenberry, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everett Shepherd officiating. Interment followed in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family received friends Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
