Brenda Kay Burton, 77, of Pulaski, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at LewisGale Pulaski Hospital.

Born Nov. 16, 1947, Brenda had a big heart and a strong love for the Lord, always putting Him first and then her children and family, whom she loved so much. She enjoyed going to thrift stores and flea markets and always winning at BINGO. Brenda loved to laugh and be silly and encouraged everyone around her to do the same. She raised her four children to be independent, strong, loving and kind to others. She had no enemies but could be a spitfire if she needed to be. In the end, Brenda set her own course of how she’d finish her days on this earth and did so with dignity and grace. She wanted everyone to have her same relationship with God so please, be saved if you’re not, so you can see Brenda’s beautiful face again some day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Saunders and Lois Saunders; her husband, Thomas Albert Burton; and her sister, Connie Reynolds.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Hubert Wayne Burton, Thomas Junior Burton (Hallie), and Frankie Lee Burton (Miranda); daughter, Regina Faye Dalton (Kevin Mundie); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Brown, Linda Lane (Larry), Frieda Hicks (Tiny), and Arlene McCillan; brothers, Freddy Saunders (Nancy), Gary Saunders, and Johnny Saunders (Wanda); and many other relatives and friends who were special to her.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, 1 – 2 p.m. at Jordan’s Chapel, 5095 Alum Spring Rd Pulaski. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity

The Burton family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
