BHS Golf Team won the Class 4D region title this past week at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club.
With the win, Blacksburg captured their ninth region title in a row with a 20-stroke victory. The Bruins shot an even par 284 on a very challenging course and were led by Cameron Sharp’s 68.
Blacksburg placed four golfers on the all-region team: Sharp, Jack Skinner, Grayden Laird and Pierce Campbell. Next up for the Bruins is the Class 4 State Tournament at Heritage Oaks in Harrisonburg, Monday, Oct. 14, where they will attempt to win their fourth consecutive Class 4 state championship.
