Rotary International District 7570, of which the Blacksburg Rotary Club is a part, has made an $11,327 donation to Feeding Southwest Virginia in Salem to help alleviate the problem of hunger and food insecurity in Southwest Virginia over the holidays. In addition, members of the Blacksburg Rotary Club helped bag potatoes for distribution.

Feeding Southwest Virginia is part of Feeding America and covers 26 counties and nine cities in Southwest Virginia. This is also part of the Rotary district, which runs from Winchester to Johnson City, Tenn.
