Thomas Vernon Bishop, Sr., 72, passed away on Mon., June 7, 2021, at his home in Christiansburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lynn McPeak Bishop; his father, Ralph Vernon Bishop; his mother, Margaret Anne Smith; and a sister.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Vernon Bishop, Jr.; a brother, Joe (Tammy) Bradley; mother-in-law, Betty McPeak; brother-in-law, Moe McPeak; sister-in-law, Pam (Tommy) Lyons; special friends Terry Slaughter and Junior (Melanie) Sites; and many other relatives and friends.
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Services began at 2 p.m. with Dr. Rev. Paul Lane officiating. Interment followed in the Newbern Cemetery in Newbern.
The Bishop family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory.
