Janice Marie Hill Barton, 79, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at her home in Parrott.
She was retired from AT&T and was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Rufus Kent Barton, Jr.; her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Thelma Elizabeth Hill; and five brothers: Bob, Frank, Lowell, Kenny, and Jack Hill.
Survivors include her sons, William, Larry, and Ronald Barton; a daughter, Patricia Barton; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Thode (Ralph), Barbara Stump (Bob), and Betty Oxley; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Butch Hutchinson officiating. Interment will be in the Prices Fork Community Cemetery.
The Barton family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford.
