Sharon Duncan Baker, 62, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 25, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Julia Duncan, of Radford. Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving sister Vicki Duncan Pinard; her loving brother Todd (Terri) Duncan; nieces Angie (Thomas) Graybeal, Natalie (John) Collins and Chelsea Duncan; four great-nephews and three great-nieces. A special thanks to best friend Linda Alumbaugh for her wonderful and steadfast friendship as she was a daily blessing to Sharon. Also, Vickie Hanks who has always supported and loved Sharon as much as we did. She will be missed by so many.
Even though Sharon had to fight harder than anyone should, her faith never wavered, and her spirit remained grateful and appreciative. She will be immensely missed by her family and friends; however, we will rejoice that she is now whole again. She suffers no more, as now she walks with her Savior. The family would like to thank everyone for all their prayers and support.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. The family will receive visitors 5 – 6 p.m., and service will follow at 6 p.m.
