Atlantic Union Bank hosts food drive to benefit local food pantries

As the holiday season approaches, Atlantic Union Bank is collecting food donations at all of its branches to benefit local communities and help families enjoy a full table for their festivities.

Starting Tuesday, Oct. 15, Atlantic Union Bank branches will accept donations of non-perishable foods. Please do not donate glass containers. The food drive will run through Nov. 15, and all donations will remain in the local community where they are donated.

“Food insecurity affects millions of American families, and many of those impacted aren’t a faraway statistic. They’re right here in our communities,” said Nathalia Artus, Head of Community Impact at Atlantic Union Bank. “We’re proud to do our part by coordinating this food drive and rallying our communities to donate and make a difference for their neighbors in need.”

All donations made at Atlantic Union Bank locations will directly support the community and food security for local residents needing assistance. Branches located within the Feed More network have been matched with their nearest Feed More-affiliated food bank or food pantry. Branches outside the Feed More network are partnering with a local food pantry.

Donation boxes will be available at all Atlantic Union Bank locations during business hours.
