William James Arp, 52, of Blacksburg and Manassas, died, Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Born in Ames, Iowa on May 28, 1966, he was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and Radford University.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Arp. He is survived by his children, Allison, Emily, Megan, Brittany, and Benjamin Arp; his former wife, Marcella Lowery; his parents, Leon J. and Kathleen Arp; and his two brothers, John and Joseph Arp.
A memorial mass will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father John Asare officiating. Burial will be held privately. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:30 am until service time at the church. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
