All veterans, men and women, are invited to attend the December meeting of the American Legion, Harvey-Howe-Carper Post 30 at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7 at the VFW Post Home on 102 Watts St. in Radford.
The Radford-based American Legion, active in multiple community-supporting events, is also in the process of renovating the historically important American Legion hall on Main Street.
“We will probably be talking about raising funds for the building and other regular business stuff,” Dana Jackson, Post 30 member wrote in an announcement.
