ON THE PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF UP TO $750,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF CITY OF RADFORD GENERAL OBLIGATION NOTES FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES
Notice is hereby given that the Radford City Council will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers, located in the City Administration Building at 10 Robertson Street, Radford, Virginia, on September 22, 2025, during a meeting of the City Council at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be called on the agenda, concerning the proposed issuance by the City of its general obligation notes (the “Notes”). The maximum principal amount of the Notes is estimated to be $750,000 and the purposes of and proposed uses for which more than ten percent of the proceeds of the Notes are expected to be used is to provide funds to pay for costs of development of the West Radford Commerce Park and cost of issuance of the Notes. Persons may appear and present their views at the public hearing. For disabled individuals who may require special auxiliary aids or services, reasonable accommodations will be made available by the City of Radford upon request at least five (5) days in advance of the public hearing.
