Charlie William Stump, 78, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025. Born March 13, 1947, he was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Junior and Irene Craighead Stump; his sister, Barbara Elmore; and his brother, Joey Stump.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Patsy L. Stump; daughter, Lisa Fulcher; son and daughter-in-law, Chad Stump (Rebekah); grandchildren and their spouses, Brandi Fulcher, Levi Fulcher, Caleb Stump (Sarah), Zachary Stump (Mariya), and Nathaniel Stump (Katie); 6 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Stump (Hope), Neal Stump, and Ronnie Stump (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Alice Stump; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family received friends Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at the New Hope Church of God in Christiansburg. Funeral services followed with Pastor T. Michael Bond and Todd Deboard officiating. Interment followed in Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.

The Stump family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
