Join the Radford Public Library for a seed starting workshop and set yourself up for the spring gardening season. Learn about the timing of planting, seed mixes versus potting soils, pinching seedlings, ideal temperature, moisture, and light levels, and why some seeds need special treatment to perform their best.
Come dressed to get your hands in the dirt. Gabriella the Garden Sage is passionate about bringing people and plants together. With a background in gardening, floristry, and education, she brings “joyous plant nerdery” with her to every market, talk, and workshop.
Register and save your spot by emailing elizabeth.sensabaugh@radfordva.gov for the Saturday, Mar. 22 event, which will be held 1 – 2:30 p.m. at the library. The workshop is funded by Lamplighters.
