Volunteer Montgomery delivers holiday tote bags

It might be cold outside, but it was warm inside the Kroontje Health Care Center on Friday, Dec. 13 as Santa and Mrs. Claus delivered 110 holiday tote bags.

The reception was incredible as these generously filled totes were handed out individually to residents by Santa and his elves. Santa and Mrs. Claus received lots of hugs and grateful smiles as they visited with everyone.

A special thank you to Dennis Minnick (Santa), Cindy Minnick (Mrs. Claus), Assistant Montgomery County Administrator Scott Woodrum, and Montgomery County Human Services Director Alex Strickler for their help with the delivery. We would also like to thank Santa’s elves. They include Carol Trutt, Rosemary Jones, Shirley Mullins, Brenda Arnold, Jack Davis, Bill Baker and Shirley Mullins.

The tote bags were generously filled by members of the community including Montgomery County employees and Volunteer Montgomery members.
