RADFORD – Glencoe Mansion, Museum & Gallery has announced a new event this spring with the debut of the Spring Fever Handcrafted Market.
The market will take place Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This will be a wonderful opportunity to support local artisans, explore Glencoe Mansion and the Mary Draper Ingles Park, and view beautiful works of art,” Glencoe announced.
The market will take place outdoors, on the grounds of Glencoe Mansion. There will be over 20 vendors selling a variety of goods from jewelry to soaps.
“This is the perfect opportunity to pick up a present for Mother’s Day or to treat Mom to a special day out, exploring all our region has to offer,” the announcement reads. “During the market, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase from the Radford High School Performing Arts, which will be another way to support the arts and creativity in the region.”
The market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The regular hours of Glencoe Mansion are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which time the whole museum is open and free to explore. There is also the Mary Draper Ingles Cultural Heritage Park featuring the statue of Mary Draper Ingles and the New River Train Viewing Observatory.
Spring Fever Handcrafted Market is open to all, free to attend and family friendly. Come support our local artists and creatives.
