CHRISTIANSBURG – Montgomery County Public Schools has announced the receipt of a report following a third-party review of the Nov. 2023, off-campus deaths of two Blacksburg High School students.
“At this time, the MCPS School Board is reviewing and evaluating the findings,” reads a statement by MCPS. “If any actions are deemed necessary, they will be taken very soon. Additionally, once reviewed, the school board intends to share more information regarding the contents of the report.”
Gentry Locke Law Firm was unanimously approved by the MCPS School Board to conduct the third-party review into administration actions taken in connection with the Blacksburg High School murder-suicide.
