Radford Farmers Market 2024 season underway

Glencoe Mansion provides a picturesque backdrop to the Radford Farmers Market, which has grown a lot since last year.

 

 

 

RADFORD – The Radford Farmers Market’s 2024 season started off in fine fashion this past Saturday, with great weather and an impressive number of vendors.

The market has grown a lot since last year, with about 40 vendors now. In addition to produce, baked goods, fresh meat and eggs, vegetable and decorative plants, jams and honey, and the like, there is also hot food (empanadas!), coffee drinks, lemonades and iced teas for sale. 

“We also have amazing local crafters and artisans with plenty of one of kind gifts, or even something for yourself,” market organizers announced. “Candles, unique natural body products, leather items, teas, keychains, shirts, and so much more!”

The market happens every Saturday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the grounds of Glencoe Mansion at 600 Unruh Dr., rain or shine. The list of vendors includes:
