Marcus Adam Stewart, 37, of Blacksburg, left his earthly body Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023. He was born May 15, 1985 in Radford.
Marcus was one to never meet a stranger and could make anyone laugh until they cried. He would do anything to make someone feel special and he had the biggest heart of gold. He loved his family and friends something fierce.
Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey P. Stewart; his paternal grandfather, Donald E. Stewart; maternal grandparents, Fred and Annette Wohlford; and uncles Marcus E. Wohlford and Daniel W. Stewart.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Wade Marshall; grandmother Mary Evelyn Albert; sister and brother-in-law Amy and William Stevens; brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Jennifer Stewart; uncles and aunts Steve and Tommie Lee Stewart, Greg and Lois Stewart, and Guy and Connie Wohlford; nieces Layken Parks and Lauren Stewart; and cousins Austin Stewart, Shannon Wohlford and Neil Wohlford. He will also be missed by special friends Angela Draper, Diane Ross, Dylan Reichner, Karen Bernier, Linda Bland, Nick Etter, Sandie Sawyers and Travis Byrd.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Tried Stone Christian Center, Blacksburg, from 12:30 – 1 p.m., with a Celebration of Life following, led by friend and pastor Eric Willoughby.
He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
