River Road crash claims life of one man

                                                                                                                                                                                   LittA 19-year-old man from Pulaski County is dead following a one vehicle car crash in the 3100 block of Little River Road in Montgomery County on Sunday, Jan. 8.

The NRV 911 Center received the call in reference to the accident at approximately 7:40 a.m. Sunday.

The accident was reported to have involved an overturned vehicle in the Little River. Sheriff’s deputies as well as fire and rescue crews responded to the scene, and upon arrival, rescue divers located one male occupant inside the vehicle. He was subsequently removed but was unresponsive.

Andrew Bryson, 19, of Pulaski Co. was transported by EMS to the New River Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team is continuing its ongoing investigation of the incident.
