The City of Radford Draft 5-Year Consolidated Plan for the period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027 and Draft Program Year 2022 Action Plan will be available for comment period beginning March 26, 2022 and ending Monday, April 25, 2022. The 5-Year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan has been developed in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The 5-Year Consolidated Plan is a comprehensive planning document that identifies housing and community development needs of the City’s low-to moderate income, homeless and special needs population, as well as targeted area’s identified by the City.
The PY 2022 Annual Action Plan serves as the City’s grant application to HUD for approximately $185,184 and sets the goals and budgets for the use of funds.
Beginning Saturday, March 26, 2022, a copy of the Draft Consolidated Plan, Annual Action Plan and Citizen’s Participation Plan is available for review online at www.radfordva.gov or at the City Manager’s Office, 10 Robertson St, Radford VA 24141, beginning March 28, 2022 from 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
In addition, the City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 7:00pm to receive comments.
