Annabelle Harvey Meadows, 88, of Dublin, passed away at her home on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford for over 45 years and had recently been attending Grace Baptist Church in Dublin.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Franklin and Hattie Annabelle Akers Harvey; in July by her husband of 69 years, Oscar H. Meadows; two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Kathie and Billy Baxter of Pulaski, Cindy and Travis Stuart of Pulaski, Brenda and Gary Stike of Dublin, and Kara Hayes of Radford; sons and daughters-in-law Bruce and Anita Meadows of Christiansburg, Steven and Kim Meadows of Wheatfield, Ind., and Kevin Meadows of Durham, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Beulah Jones of Lexington, S.C. and Betty Heineman of Belspring; and many other family members and friends.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin with Pastors Doug Testerman and Gary Stike officiating.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
