Shadow is ready to go home. She came to the Animal Care and Adoption Center in April when she and her owner had to part ways after no longer being able to care for her. Shadow loves getting affection from her favorite humans and would do well as the only pet in the home. Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care and Control has sponsored her adoption.
Meet Jake from State Farm. While he didn’t have his red shirt and khakis ready for his photo, he is wearing a big smile. This friendly dog knows some basic commands—gladly sitting for a treat—but he knows nothing about insurance. He is also housetrained. Humans are a favorite companion of his, but he does not do well with other animals.
