Otis (Allen) Phillips, 58, passed away on May 28, 2020. He was born in West Virginia but resided in Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Phillips; brother-in-law Larry Starkey; and father-in-law Elmer Sheppard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Reva Phillips; his precious daughters Amanda Phillips, Jessica Bishop (Joey), Katie Acord (Mitchell); grandchildren Shalyn and Ayana Bishop, Brody and Sophie Acord; his mother, Doris Phillips; his mother-in-law, Elsie Sheppard; brothers David Phillips (Wendy), Roy Phillips (Cindy), James Phillips (Stephanie); a sister, Amanda Starkey; as well as several nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles; employer and special friends, Curtis, W.L., and David Goad.
Allen was a very special man. He loved his family, friends, and just loved life. He never met a stranger and always knew how to make everyone laugh. We love you.
Graveside service were conducted Monday, June 1, 2020, in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
