YMCA at Virginia Tech announces a series of Y Dine Out fundraisers

The YMCA at Virginia Tech has announced a Y Dine Out program, partnering with local restaurants to encourage friends, families and colleagues to go out and enjoy a healthy meal to benefit the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

In turn, the restaurants will donate 10-25% of food and non-alcoholic beverage sales to the YMCA at Virginia Tech. All donations and funds raised go directly into the YMCA’s community programs including senior connections, sustainability initiatives, and its international and youth programs.

The dates for the scheduled events are as follows:

Tuesday, March 3, from 5-9 p.m. Dine at PK’s and 25% of all food and non-alcoholic drinks will be donated to the YMCA. Just tell the server you’re there for the YMCA.

Wednesday,, March 18, from 4-9 p.m. Dine at Buffalo Wild Wings and 15% of all food and non- alcoholic drinks will be donated to the YMCA. A coupon is required.

Wednesday, April 8, from 5-9 p.m. Dine at TOTS or BOTS and 25% of all food and non-alcoholic drinks will be donated to the YMCA. Just tell the server you’re here for the YMCA.

Wednesday, April 22, from 6-10 p.m. Dine at D.P. Dough and $1 from each calzone or any non-calzone order over $10 will be donated to the YMCA. If 100 people call, D.P. Dough will double the donation. Say “YMCA” when you order in the restaurant or call in. Call 540-951-9663

Wednesday, May 6, all day. Dine at Benny Marzano’s and 15% of food and non-alcoholic beverage sales will be donated to the YMCA. Just tell you server you’re there for the YMCA.

More dates and more restaurants will be confirmed soon.
