BOARD OF DIRECTORS
TARGET AREA REPRESENTATIVE ELECTION
DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION OF ELECTION: NRCA Emergency Assistance office, 928 West Main Street, Radford. July 15, 1:30 AM-2:30 Noon.
PURPOSE OF THE ELECTION: To elect target area representative to sit on the Board of Directors of NRCA to represent Radford City. The Board manages the affairs and sets the policies for NRCA. The elected representative will serve on the Local Advisory Board and the Board of Directors. NRCA has as its purpose to alleviate poverty in the New River Valley by such programs as Head Start, Children’s Health Improvement Partnership, Homeless and Housing Programs, VA CARES, Emergency Assistance and outreach services for other human service agencies.
PERSONS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE: All persons residing in City of Radford who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and whose family income falls within the Poverty Income Guidelines to determine eligibility for being served shall be eligible to vote. Persons not meeting these criteria can neither nominate nor vote at this election.
