Radford girls regional champ

The Radford High School girls won the regional championship Wednesday 5-0 over Giles. Both teams now move onto the state tournament.

Radford’s Ragan Hale also brought home a regional singles trophy with a 6-2, 6-3 win over her Giles County opponent. Lily Weschke also picked up a regional championship. Play was suspended after the singles competition because of the score.

Gracie Blackwell, the number three-ranked Radford player, continued the run with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Haley Hansen.
Harper Minarik also picked up a singles win for the Lady Bobcats at number two with a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Radford’s Kathleen Reuwer brought home a singles region title with 6-1, 6-0, win over Emma Freeborn.
