New River Community College recently recognized several students with Outstanding Students in a Curriculum/Subject Area awards at the President’s Awards Ceremony held on Tuesday, April 23.
The awards were determined by the faculty in the various programs at the college. All students receiving the Outstanding Student in a Curriculum award have completed requirements for an associate degree, certificate, diploma or career studies certificate and are eligible to participate in the college’s commencement ceremony on Wednesday, May 15.
Students from Radford who were honored included Cailie Madison Abate, Education; and Faith Leighette Harless, Music.
