At Brugh Coffee on Roanoke Street, Mama Crockett’s Cider Donut’s signature vintage mint trailer drew a line across the Farmers’ Insurance parking lot.

Mama Crockett’s Cider Donuts roam the countryside popping up in the parking lots of coffee shops and diners in their signature mint blue vintage trailer and a line around the block.

For the third time, Mama Crockett has appeared at Brugh Coffee and Farmer’s Insurance on Roanoke Street in Christiansburg.

“We look for good spots. Near the road with good visibility and coffee,” Mallori Gederberg, 23, manager at the newly opened Lynchburg brick-and-mortar Mama Crockett’s said on the phone with donut equipment stirring in the background. “Our best seller is a classic cinnamon sugar donut.”

The company, based in Lynchburg, drive all over Virginia and go as far as North Carolina.

“We have an RV and two trailers. We set off for two weeks to North Carolina and sling donuts every day,” she said.
