RADFORD – Members of Radford Girl Scout Troop 532 recently cleaned up trash at the Radford Public Library on an effort to improve their local environment and give back to the place that gives the troop a place to meet.
“The troop has been meeting at the library for the last year and we wanted to start giving back to the library for its generosity,” said Troop Leader Michelle Maxwell. “Girl Scouts do a great job of encouraging service in the local community.”
Library Director Elizabeth Sensabaugh says that the help is most appreciated.
“They will be continuing to pick up trash when they meet at RPL, which is wonderful,” she said.
