Radford and Glenvar high schools joined forces Monday night for “Dig Pink Night,” an effort to bring attention to breast cancer awareness. The Side-Out Foundation unites the volleyball community to impact change and to join the growing Dig Pink movement. Thousands of dollars have been raised over the past five years as Radford holds silent auctions and other raffles before and during the game.
Harper Minarik goes up for the left-handed spike as Radford downed Glenvar 25-13, 24-26, 24-26, 25-13, 15-13 to move to 15-1 overall on the season and 6-1 in Three Rivers District play.
Charli Dietz attacks the Glenvar team with a kill to secure Game four. Dietz finished with 15 kills, six aces and 21 digs.
Trinity Adams prepares to serve in Monday’s win at the Radford High School gym.
Radford’s Sadie Hurst (pictured) goes up high for a spike. Kara Armentrout finished with 17 kills, while Emma Minnick had 46 assists, 11 digs and three aces.
