Nancy Bartlett Showalter, 78, of Christiansburg died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at The Crossings. She was born in Roanoke, VA on March 31, 1940 to the late Charles Arthur and Virginia Miles Bartlett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joe Showalter; and one son her beloved, Chuck.
Mrs. Showalter was a member of the Christiansburg Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her children, Claire Showalter and Mark Burk, Josiah T. and Deborah Showalter, A. Milton and Leigh Ann Showalter, Henry D. and Kelly Showalter, and Catherine Showalter Lineburg; grandchildren, Andrew and Emerson Burk, AnnaKate and Tripp Showalter, Allie Winfield and Sarah Catherine Showalter, Reece and Paige Showalter, Maggie, Robert, and Heidi Lineburg; special friends, Sabrina Porter, Missy Cromer, Laura Perry, Kathy Drummond, Raquel Sisson, and Reina LaForce.
A special thanks to the staff at The Crossings and especially, Sue in Blue, Cindy, Shayna, Misty, Keely, Shawana, and Shayla.
A private graveside will be held. The family received friends on Aug. 6 at the McCoy Funeral Home.
