Ronald A. Morris, 84, of Roanoke died, Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in McCoy on March 1, 1934 to the late William Taft and Vergie Mae McCoy Morris.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Christine Meredith Morris; two sisters, Zana Whitaker Webb and Rita Anne Smith; two brothers, Willard Alfred Morris and William Howard Morris.
Ronnie is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Scott and husband, Doug, Pat Spivey and husband, Gary; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Wayne Morris and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Heather, Brooke (Trae), MaKena (Wes), Chad; great-grandchildren, Noah, Emma; sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily Judith and Joel Hart, Mary Ellen and Richard Graham; brother-in-law, Richard Smith; sister-in-law, Marie E. Morris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Loretta Landes.
Funeral services were conducted on August 3 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benjamin Whitaker and Rev. Kevin Blankenship officiating. The family received friends Friday evening at McCoy Funeral Home,
