Meadowbrook Library hosts Pastor Emeritus Reverend Kenneth Wright at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7 presenting “Changing History.”
The Reverend will speak about the desegregation of schools in Montgomery County and the closing of Christiansburg Institute.
Reverend Kenneth Wright is retired after 42 years of being the pastor of the First Baptist Church, Gainsboro in Roanoke.
A native of Elliston, he graduated from Christiansburg Institute in 1959 and from Roanoke College in 1977.
Following, light refreshments will be served.
