The Radford City Police Department is investigating a “hit and run” motor vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 6:34 p.m. in the 500 block of Preston Street.
A twelve-year-old male juvenile was struck while riding his bicycle, by a vehicle described as a “light red, four door sedan.”
The juvenile sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
The police department is asking for citizens’ assistance in locating the involved vehicle and driver. A car they sought was determined not to be involved.
