The folks quoted in the March 17 RHS & Dalton Intermediate “protest” article go to great lengths to play down the “anti-2nd Amendment protest” part and make it into a “tribute” to the 17 victims in Parkland, Florida.
Still, despite assertions by Radford administrators and students, it was called a “protest,” in lock-step with politically motivated events at other schools; some clearly intended to indoctrinate students with anti-2nd-Amendment views and others involving hundreds of very young students who literally had no idea what/why they were “protesting.”
I’m disappointed that the Radford school authorities chose to jump on this overtly political “protest” bandwagon for what should have been a totally non-political outpouring of empathy for the victims and their families!
