The pets-of-the-week come from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. Each Saturday the paper features a dog and cat from the facility available for adoption. Those interested in adopting a pet, or helping the shelter, can call 382-5795 or visit www.montgomerycountyva.gov/acac.
Dazzle, 3, is a sweet and friendly cat looking for a furever home. This handsome guy has a short coat with distinctive markings. If you’re interested in getting to know him, stop by the Animal Care and Adoption Center.Lady, a 7 year old Spaniel mix, enjoys spending time in the yard. She also likes going on walks with volunteers at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. She is very independent and would work best as the only pet in a home without small children.
