Michael Gene Shaver, 52, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, William Franklin Shaver, Sr., and his step-father, Sam Terry, his paternal grandparents, Ellett and Gracie Shaver, his maternal grandparents, Ellett and Elizabeth Alls.
He is survived by his mother, Betty S. Terry; his brother, William Franklin Shaver, Jr.; special friend, Edwin Rodriguez; special aunt, Nancy White.
Funeral services were held Nov. 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil McHone officiating. Burial will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family received friends at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
