Andrew Scott Lutz, 17, of Riner passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29 2017. He was born in Blacksburg, Virginia on Aug. 15, 2000 to his beloved parents Alvin and Chandra Lutz of Riner, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Cheryl Alice Gessner, Uncle John Gessner and his Paw Paw Robert Bishop. Andrew was a senior at Auburn High School and member of the High School Marching Band. He also enjoyed movies, amusement parks and spending time with his many friends and family.
He is survived by his parents Alvin and Chandra Lutz, Grandparents Alice Bishop, Bill and Debbie Gessner, Uncles Nathan Gessner, Scott and his wife, Misty Lutz, Michael Lutz, and Brian Harris; Sister and Brother-in-law Lorrie and Mark Grubb, sister Tiffany Lutz, and brother Chris Lutz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.
Funeral services were conducted on Nov. 3 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Glass officiating. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family received friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr, SW. Blacksburg.
