Appalachia Bassmasters is associated with the Bass Masters of Virginia and all members compete for the state championship.The local fishing group wrapped up its final tournament of the year on September 29. David (right) and Thomas Wright won the final night with total weight of 6.6 pounds. The father-son team would also be the end of the year points champions with a grand total of 112.6 pounds of bass for the year. Also on Friday night, the biggest smallmouth was caught by Adam Davidson and Derek Lane at 3.8 pounds, and the biggest largemouth was caught by David McLaughlin and Daniel Martin at 2.6 pounds.
