John “Johnny” Lewis DeHart, Jr., 70, of Fairlawn, passed away Monday. He was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John DeHart, Sr. and Katherine DeHart Saul; and two sisters, Priscilla Proco and Barbara D.Snider.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline D. and Rick Haynes of Fairlawn; brother, Randolph C. DeHart of Georgia; special niece, Stacy Viers; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. today at the Fairlawn Baptist Church. Memorial services will begin at 12 p.m. with Rev. Greg Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Highland Ridge Activities Group, 5872 Hanks Avenue, Dublin, VA 24084.
