Shannon Patricia Ward, 20, of Rocky Mount, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 5.
She is survived by her mother, Michele Ryan Ward; her brothers Captain Ryan James Ward (Chelsea), William Joseph Ward, 1st Lieutenant Connor Michael Ward (Rebecca), 2nd Lieutenant Patrick Charles Ward; sisters Caitlin Elizabeth Ward and Megan Cecelia Ward.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Adult Congenital Heart Association: achaheart.org. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. tomorrow at Conner Bowman Funeral Home (Rt.220 Chapel). Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Conner Bowman Funeral Home & Crematory, 62 Virginia Market Place Dr., Rocky Mount, Va. 24151.
