Your vote has never been more important. This November, every seat in the House of Representatives, two-thirds of the Senate, and nearly three-quarters of the nation’s state governorships are on the ballot. How we vote this fall will help determine what kind of country we become and what kind of world we leave our children.
Indivisible will host a Get Out the Vote Rally on Sunday, September 27, 4–6:30 p.m. at Huckleberry Park in Christiansburg. The rally is a one-stop shop for voters to register, learn about early voting, find polling places and dates, review ballot referenda, and more.
Other community and activist organizations from the New River Valley will be on hand to share their expertise and provide critical information about this year’s ballot. Glen Holmes and his chorus of singing voters will add to the afternoon with lively tunes for the whole family to enjoy. Light refreshments will be provided.
With so much noise surrounding the upcoming election, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. This rally will connect voters directly with official information from the Virginia Board of Elections on every key facet of the voting process. The right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy and one of our most precious rights. Join us to get the information you need to make sure your vote counts.
