RU inks transfers for upcoming season

Radford Women’s Basketball Head Coach Mike McGuire has announced the signings of four incoming transfers set to join the team for the 2026-27 season.
Three of the four transfers combine to boast a combined seven seasons at the Division I level, with incoming sophomore Ralee Bare comes to Radford from Division II Lenoir-Rhyne.

Kailyn Fields is a senior guard from Atlanta, Ga. Who attended Kennesaw State and Galloway High School. Stats include:

  • Made 20 starts for the Owls her junior season, averaging 34.8 minutes per game
  • Ranked second in C-USA in minutes average (34.8) and third in assist average (4.4)
  • Led Kennesaw State with 87 assists, tied for fourth-most in a single season in program history
  • Recorded career high in points (22), field goals (8), and three-pointers made (6) vs. Western Kentucky on January 4
  • One of two players in C-USA to have multiple games of nine assists during the 2025-26 season
  • Tied for 10thin KSU DI history with a 35.4 three-point percentage
  • Tied for fourth in KSU all-time single season assist average (4.4)
  • Played in 31 games her sophomore season and all 30 games her freshman season, totaling 81 games across three seasons with the Owls
  • Averaged 11.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game as a junior and two-time co-captain at Wheeler High School in Marietta … finished prep career at The Galloway School in Atlanta
  • Played AAU with Hoops Dreams Athletics and named to three all-star tournaments
  • Chosen as standout player at the Orlando Splash event and was voted the 2021 She Got Game MVP

Logan Luebbers Palmer is a junior guard from Union, Ky. Who attended Evansville and Randall K. Cooper HS. Stats include:

  • Played in 18 games (all starts) her sophomore season, averaging 10.7 points per game
  • Made six three-pointers in a game twice during the season (vs. IU Indy on Nov. 20 and Belmont on Dec. 17), the most by any Evansville player in 2025-26
  • Ranked second on the team in scoring (10.7 ppg), eighth in three-point field goals (31), and 23rdin the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) in scoring at time of injury in mid-January
  • Scored in double figures in 12 of first 17 games of sophomore season
  • Played in 24 games (11 starts) her freshman season at Evansville
  • Finished fifth on the team in minutes per game (22.3) and scoring (6.5 ppg) in 2024-25
  • Reached double figures six times, all in MVC play
  • Named MVC Freshman of the Week after scoring 14 points against Bradley (Feb. 13, 2024) and a season-high 17 points against Illinois State (Feb. 15, 2024)
  • Four-year starter at Randall K. Cooper and led the Jaguars to back-to-back runs to the Kentucky State Tournament Final Four in 2023 and 2024
  • Named all-state, all-region, all-conference, and KHSAA All-Tournament her senior year
  • Scored over 1,600 points, had over 600 rebounds, and 200+ steals in her high school career

Jada Green is a graduate student forward from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Who attended Richmond and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Stats include:

  • Appeared in 19 games with two starts in senior season at Richmond
  • Scored a season-high two points at William & Mary on Nov. 12 and had two steals on Feb. 14 at Davidson
  • Has multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2025 First Four game against Nebraska and a 2024 win against Georgia Tech
  • Made collegiate debut on Nov. 9, 2024, against Morgan State after missing first two seasons due to injury and scored her first basket on Nov. 15, 2024, vs. Gardner-Webb
  • Appeared in 12 games her junior season
  • Was member of team that won the Florida 6A State Championship in 2021 and 2022
  • Nominated to the McDonald’s All-American Team and USA Today High School Sports Southeast Florida Team
  • Averaged 9.6 rebounds per game as a junior in high school

Ralee Bare is a sophomore guard from Hays, N.C. who attended Lenoir-Rhyne and North Wilkes High School. Stats include:

  • Appeared in 21 games (no starts) in lone season at Lenoir-Rhyne
  • Named to the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) All-Freshman Team
  • Averaged 8.7 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, and 20.6 minutes per game
  • Reached double figures scoring in eight games
  • Ranked second on the team in free throw percentage (86.7%), third in assists (70), steals (49), and rebounding average (5.2),
  • Scored a season-high 27 points to help the Bears defeat No. 10 Coker on Jan. 14
  • Helped team set program record with 20 conference wins in addition to a SAC Regular Season Championship
  • Bears also reached just their second NCAA Tournament Elite Eight in program history
  • Twice was the conference player of the year and first team all-district in high school
  • Also named third-team all-state her senior year
  • Participated in the NC East-West All-Star Basketball Game
  • Earned NCHSAA 21 Sportsmanship Award and was the 2A State Championship Most Outstanding Player her senior year
  • Averaged 13.6 points per game, 5.6 assists per game, and 6.7 steals per game her senior year at North Wilkes
