Jo Ann Sowers Lytton passed away peacefully April 2, 2026, at the age of 79. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jo Ann lived in Christiansburg all her life where she built a life centered on family and friendship.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband Larry Lytton; her son Dwayne (Judy) Price; her grandsons Darren (Hannah) Price and Michael (Sarah) Price; granddaughters Samantha (Ethan) Thompson and Sydney Price; stepson Chris (Becky) Lytton; stepdaughter Stephanie (Troy) Phillips; grandsons Brandon, Logan and Jordan Lytton; granddaughter Kaylee; her sister Shirley Sowers; brother Dennis Sowers; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Todd Price; her mother Gertrude Sowers; father Paul Sowers; sister Sylvia Sowers and brother Danny Sowers.
Jo Ann’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
