Lisa A. Mills (Scott), 55, of Radford, passed away Monday, Mar. 23, 2026. She was born June 26, 1970 to Gloria Black and the late John C Scott III at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, John C. Scott III, and her brother, John C. Scott IV
Lisa was an avid rummy player and loved to spend time with her grandkids and family. She loved the beach and collecting seashells to show off to anyone who would listen. She was a kind hearted soul who loved to help those in need through difficult times through volunteer work.
Lisa is survived by her mother and step father Gloria Black and Barry Black, her sister, Katherine Scott Mire, her daughter, Cassandra Riley, her son and daughter-in-law Jesse Shands and Amanda Barnett, her four grandchildren whom she loved deeply, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Mar. 28, 2026 at Community Christian Church, McCoy. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family, c/o Jesse Shands, P.O. Box 387, McCoy, VA 24111.
