Brandon Gravely (left) the new Store Manager at the Radford Food Lion, and Produce Manager Alex Robertson (right), are encouraging the community to buy oranges to help feed hungry people in the community. “Food Lion has an amazing campaign that we hold every year where if anyone purchases a three-pound bag of navel oranges, we will donate the equivalent of five meals to a local food bank and any cash donations made, we donate the equivalent of 10 meals for each dollar,” said Gravely. “We also donate the actual bags of oranges for those who do not wish to keep them.” The campaign is underway and ends Mar. 17.
